The Rock Club’s New Head Route Setter

The Rock Club is proud to announce that we have a new head route setter, Brendan Chin.  Brendan brings years of experience to rock climbing and route setting.

Brendan spent time growing up in both Connecticut and Vermont, and has always loved the outdoors. It wasn’t until he moved to Colorado that he discovered climbing, and hasn’t looked back since. His travels have taken him throughout New England, to the Colorado Alpine, Utah’s deserts, sunny California, rainy Portugal, Spain and Morocco. He is a registered USA Climbing Coach and is a USA Climbing Level 1 Routesetter. If he’s not 40 feet up on a rope setting, hanging from tiny crimps with his iPhone timer, or coaching Team Rock, you’re likely to find Brendan running, hiking, climbing, perusing used book stores, or sitting in a coffee shop you haven’t heard of. He likes climbing and cats, in no particular order, and is excited to continue growing The Rock Club’s already strong community.
