Speed to Feed – Spin for a Cause

Pine Brook Fitness will join forces with the Food Bank for Westchester on Saturday, December 12th to host Speed to Feed, a spin event dedicated to raising money for the Food Bank for Westchester. As the holidays quickly approach, it’s a time when we are often surrounded by food. However, that’s not the case for all. There are 200,000 people at risk of hunger in Westchester County, that’s one in five people. More than 33% of these people are children under the age of 18 and more than 22% are seniors over the age of 60.

At Pine Brook Fitness, we pride ourselves in supporting local organizations in the community. The holiday season is usually a time of giving and we hope members of the community will come together to spin for a cause. They will have the added benefit of working on their waistline at the same time!

Speed to Feed will take place at Pine Brook Fitness on Saturday, December 12th with spin sessions at 8am, 9am and 10am. The cost to reserve a bike is $25 per session and all proceeds will go directly to the Food Bank for Westchester. This event is open to anyone who would like to participate. For those interested, bikes can be reserved by emailing Fitness Director, Steve DiDio at sdidio@pinebrookfitness.com.
