    USTA Fall Tournament Season Begins

The USTA fall season is upon us. The New Rochelle Racquet Club, Westchester’s premier indoor tennis facility, will be hosting a number of USTA Tournaments throughout the fall season (the fall schedule can be viewed here). If you’d like to participate in the tournament, you can contact brian@nrrc.us.  As a courtesy, all required USTA entry fees for New Rochelle Racquet Club TTP players are paid for by the New Rochelle Racquet Club. This past weekend The New Rochelle Racquet club hosted the USTA L2 Boys and Girls 12s/14s tournament.

USTA tennis tournaments are extremely competitive and give all the athletes an incredible opportunity to showcase all of their hard work and training.

Matches were held Friday evening, all day Saturday, and Sunday afternoon. The 12s played the best of three shortened sets (up to 4 games) and the 14s played the best of three full sets.

The turnout for the tournament was amazing. It was exciting to see the viewing lounge full of parents, coaches, and spectators.

The New Rochelle Racquet Club had six players representing the club.

    • Constantin Fleury
    • Zoe Bucci
    • Coco Dailey
    • Nate McMillan
    • Lucas Bucci
    • Conrad Gorski

Constantin Fleury, had a great boys 14s tournament, beating multiple seeded players to reach the semifinals.

Zoe Bucci reached the final of the Girls 14s.

Coco Dailey competed in the girls 12s had a lengthy, hard-fought opening round match.

Nate McMillan, Lucas Bucci, and Conrad Gorski, all competed in the boys 12s event and are good buddies (making the competitive atmosphere more friendly and happy).

Nate McMillan had a fantastic tournament reaching the Semifinals.

We’d like to give special congratulations to Lucas Bucci for winning the Boys 12s title with Gorski taking the runner-up trophy.

Thank you for all those who came out to support the tournament and all the players that participated. We look forward to the next tournament!
